Reconnecting for a cause
I’m happy to announce there is a new project in the making. I am having such a good time writing Haunted Cemeteries of Texas that I contacted my Washington editor. It spiked her interest. The next step was reconnecting with some of my friends in Washington to see if I could co-author with a local author. This is where it gets even better.
My first book was co-authored with Ross Allison. For those who haven’t heard of him, let me tell you a little about my friend. Mind you, it’s difficult to explain him in just a few words of black and white on a blog. I met Ross in 2011 as a new writer looking to interview a real-life ghost hunter for Appleseeds Magazine. The person I met many years ago has continued to excel in his career and become well-known in the industry.

Why am I introducing you to Ross? The old gang might get back together to write another book. We are currently negotiating with The History Press for Haunted Cemeteries of Washington. I love to research, and Ross loves to investigate ghost stories. You couldn’t ask for a better combination of reading material to learn about the ghosts that still linger around the cemeteries in Washington. What can you expect besides a well-researched and scary historical book?
- Greenwood Cemetery has a rumored “Chair of Death” and the remains of Jimi Hendrix.
- Lake View Cemetery is the final resting place for Bruce and Brandon Lee and a few colorful characters from Seattle’s past.
- Black Diamond Cemetery is considered one of the most haunted cemeteries in Washington State due to the number of tragic deaths of miners in the area.
We have so many stories to share, and we look forward to putting them all together in one book for your hauntingly good reading enjoyment. Stay tuned for more details.
